2024 Spring Graduate Medical Education Summit

The Office Of Mississippi Physician Workforce (OMPW) will host its 2024 Spring Graduate Medical Education (GME) Summit on March 22, 2024 at The River Hills Club in Jackson, MS. We will be gathering Graduate Medical Education Experts, Champions & Learners to discuss best practices and develop innovative solutions for GME's unique role in bolstering the health care workforce and addressing Mississippi's physician shortage. The free one-day event is designed to increase participants' understanding of key issues in GME through a combination of information sessions, practical advice, and GME updates.
The summit will be held in collaboration with Thalamus, Memorial Hospital Gulfport, Partners in Medical Education, Baptist North Mississippi, PKFHealth, LLC, Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, University of Mississippi Medical Center, WCUCOM, EC-Healthnet, and OMPW.
